In the second week of November, an Israeli delegation arrived in Moldova to conduct exams for the recruitment of construction workers (the 28th round) and to advance other processes. CIMI’s deputy director Margarita Gorodnitsky and our director of labor migration programs Alina Fooks joined PIBA’s representatives Adv. Inbal Mashash, head of the Foreign Workers Administration and Shirli Raysin Sasson, director of the Bilateral Agreements Division.
Notwithstanding the war, 605 candidates turned up for the exams and 514 were successful. In addition to the recruitment of new candidates, in accordance with a government resolution, we are trying to implement a procedure for bringing back workers who have worked here in the past.
