Program to support caregivers and those whom they care for

The current situation in Israel is distressing not only for foreign caregivers but also for employers who have been left without caregivers. CIMI has joined forces with JDC-ESHEL and PIBA in a program to strengthen and support foreign workers, the families that employ them, and social workers in the social service departments. The main elements of the program are: instructional videos, webinars, outreach activities for workers evacuated from the Gaza border area, training for social workers, mapping of needs, and data analysis. Our additional partners are the Ministry of Welfare, the Ministry of Health, the National Insurance Institute, the Nursing Division, the Home Front Command, and CareGivers Israel.
