CIMI has begun cooperating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in an effort to help participants in MASHAV’s agricultural internship program for overseas students. The program, which is included in Israel’s package of assistance to developing nations, is intended for some 4,000 interns from over 20 countries in Asia and Africa. Since 2021, the program has been run by a special division at MASHAV. In an effort to make the program more efficient, CIMI will do what it can to develop the infrastructure for responding to complaints by the interns to ensure that their rights are fully protected during their stay in Israel.
