Since the beginning of Swords of Iron, our Call Center has received an unprecedented high number of calls. In normal times, the center receives around 550 calls every month. In the first two weeks of the war, there were 626 calls and by the end of October, the number had risen to 1,424. Most of the complaints were about evacuation and the lack of help from employers and agencies; there were also inquiries about the possibility of leaving the country and returning at a later date. Due to the numbers, the center increased the interpreters’ working hours significantly and created a list for those needing psychological support and evacuation to safer areas.
